Each year Alliance Catholic Foundation hosts two scholarship programs to help support educational goals for students pursuing their education.
Each spring, Alliance Catholic Foundation offers members of Alliance Catholic Credit Union, who will be attending a K-12 Catholic school or a post-secondary institution for the upcoming academic year, the opportunity to receive scholarships to support their educational goals. $20,000 in scholarships is awarded to members annually.
Each fall, Alliance Catholic Foundation, in conjunction with the Catholic High School League, awards $20,000 in scholarships to 10 students who will be attending a Catholic High School League school for the upcoming academic year.
Alliance Catholic Foundation, in combination with staff and volunteers from Alliance Catholic Credit Union, offers financial wellness solutions and financial literacy seminars to schools, parishes and community groups interested in learning about budgeting, saving, and managing money.
Faith and Money Matters is an online bible study created by Compass Catholic Ministries focused on financial discipleship. Alliance Catholic Foundation is making the program available for free*. The course can be completed individually or in a small group setting.
You will learn:
- How to create a spending plan
- How to get out of crushing debt
- How to start saving and investing for long term financial wellbeing
- How financial discipleship changes lives
*$40 value. Must be a resident of the state of Michigan. All participants agree to receive the Alliance Catholic Credit Union “Bulletin” bi-weekly email newsletter and agree to participate in a follow-up survey from Alliance Catholic Foundation.
